A Little About Me
In my mind and heart, cooking and baking is an art form involving the exchange of ideas, techniques and most of all good food! I find that cooking deserves a creative flair so I try to create simple but flavorful recipes, focusing on local ingredients and working to ensure that buying locally does really enhance our nutrition, our taste buds, all of our senses and on a grander scale- a focus on our local economy and community. I believe that food deserves to be eaten in its whole and natural form and that meals should be enjoyed by all, sharing with friends and family, along with good conversation. The preparation of a meal is just as important as the end result. Cooking as a process is what I find the most appealing- understanding the basics and having the freedom to make changes.

Just a note- I try to use exact measurements in the recipes when I am able to but please take into consideration, that these are approximate measurements and that the cook/baker should ultimately decide if they would prefer more or less seasoning, etc. If you have any questions on substitutions of ingredients, just comment on the recipe and I'll reply back as soon as possible!
